About Mark Roberts

Mark believes small businesses are responsible for enriching the lives of the people they serve. Trustworthy, expert maintenance and repairs are the keys to his success. His shops provide for the well-being of both customers and employees.

As the leader of this team, Mark sets the standards for performance, growth, and character. Character matters more than cars. He doesn’t want to run “just another” auto shop. He has created an environment where teammates become better people while they become better professionals. 

Cars have always been Mark’s first love. Bright-eyed and eager, he worked as a mechanic right out of high school. He performed pump repair and maintenance for a gas company. This critical first job helped set him on a path of focused determination.

From there, he built upon his knowledge of electronics by attending Texas A&M (Gig-em’ Aggies). In 1984 he received an Applied Science Degree in Electronic Engineering from Texas A&M Engineering Extension Services.

His education and experience earned him a position as a collision repair technician in 1985. His supervisors, along with other industry leaders there, recognized his leadership capabilities. They trusted him with the responsibility of teaching collision repair classes in the evenings. 

When the industry introduced airbags and antilock brake systems, Mark saw the need for an electronic specialist. Wanting to meet this need, Mark started a company called Airbag Service in 1995. He provided specialized services to collision and auto repair shops in the South Texas Area. Mark sold the company in 1998.

His reputation and efforts made him the go-to expert in collision and auto repair. He shared his insight through classes at industry events and insurance companies. His knowledge is used in various capacities as an industry specialist.

In 1999, Mark was hired as a Special Projects Manager for Caliber Collision. In this role, he was responsible for handling customer service claims with insurance carriers, as well as building and staffing the first call center to streamline operations and provide a higher level of service. These skills have been indispensable in his development of programs for customer care in his existing shop locations. 

Wanting to focus more attention on his 2 young children and his wife Lori, Mark decided to open his own collision repair shop in 2001, and a general automotive repair operation in 2004. Since then, Mark has been adapting to market needs, adjusting for personal growth, and refining his brand. It’s all brought him to where he is today.
